Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into fame in 1994, after she released her debut Album Age Ain't nothing but A Number. At the age of 15 the album was awarded Gold recognition. It was done as an album that was heavily in the style of R. Kelly and it placed her in the spotlight. In 1996 she worked with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland to record her follow-up album One In A Million which contained the number-one hit single If You Only Knew. Aaliyah gained notoriety as an R&B artist after her album's release. She was a part of the martial arts legend Jet Li in the romance-action film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. In 2002 she was in the vampire movie Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The Matrix Sequels saw her as Zee following her appearance in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) as well as The Matrix Revolutions that same year. The singer had four Grammy nominations in 2001, 1999, 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is an Indian-American from the one generation who was of origin born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. It is an acronym for Mankad her surname when she married. The actress utilizes Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar for her professional name. Her acting career started in the early 2000 with small appearances on television and in films. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials, including Volvo's global car manufacturer. The actress currently resides at Los Angeles along with her wife, son and daughter. She also pursues her acting career.
